The Copper Pipes Replacement Project at Wellington Regional Hospital involves replacing all hot water copper pipework and risers throughout the facility.

As Project Manager, our role includes design and construction management, overseeing works in a live hospital environment, and ensuring project completion with minimal disruption. Effective communication with clinical departments, proactive risk management, and on-site collaboration as part of the Capital Projects team were critical. By maintaining flexibility, fostering relationships, and prioritising safety and transparency, we achieved a positive outcome for stakeholders while upholding hospital operations.
